Synergy SpaceTM was created from a deep recognition that many families are not struggling with “behavior” — they are navigating nervous system dysregulation without structure.
Parents are often given advice without implementation guidance. Children are labeled without developmental support. Families become exhausted trying to manage symptoms without understanding the system underneath them.
Synergy SpaceTM was built to close that gap — bringing structure to regulation work — not intensity or shame.
Structure.
Synergy Space was not built from theory alone. It was built at the intersection of professional training and lived reality.
For over a decade, I have worked as an occupational therapist across diverse settings and age groups, supporting nervous system regulation, executive functioning, sensory processing, and functional skill development.
Across years of supporting children and families, clear patterns emerged:
In clinical settings, families were often given behavior charts and reinforcement plans — but rarely taught how regulation actually develops or how to build it intentionally over time.
That became personal.
As the mother of a neurodivergent child — a capable, “high-functioning” child who often does not qualify for intensive services — I experienced the daily reality of emotional overwhelm inside the home.
When one child struggles with regulation, the entire family system feels it.
Children do not need fewer emotions. They need the capacity to regulate them.
Regulation is a developmental skill. It grows through guided practice, repetition, co-regulation, structured support, and gradual independence.
I draw from developmental regulation frameworks, executive functioning principles, and nervous system science to provide structured, measurable guidance.
Lived experience informs how I listen. Professional structure informs how I guide. Together, they shape the Synergy model.
Regulation is built.
Synergy SpaceTM operates on three core principles:
Activate — Build regulation capacity intentionally.
Integrate — Practice consistently in real-world environments.
Restore — Strengthen recovery and shorten escalation cycles.
We prioritize:
This work is structured, practical, and developmentally aligned.
Synergy SpaceTM exists to help families build sustainable nervous system capacity through structured, developmentally aligned virtual support.
