The Synergy Space Model Supports Emotional Regulation.

Emotional regulation is a developmental capacity that grows through guided practice, co-regulation, and repetition over time.

Children learn regulation skills through structured support, consistent routines, and adult modeling. As capacity develops, children gradually move toward greater independence in managing frustration, transitions, and recovery from escalation.

The Synergy Space model draws from principles found in research on:

  • developmental neuroscience
  • executive functioning
  • nervous system regulation
  • co-regulation and skill-building approaches
